Legacy Firewood is a Yorkshire based producer and supplier of British hardwood firewood for wholesale to the UK-wide firewood trade. We also supply a large number of catering and domestic customers within our region and beyond. We specialise in the large-scale production of kiln dried hardwood firewood and softwood kindling using raw timber material that is sourced in the UK and as close to our production plant as possible. All timber comes from sustainably managed woodlands & forests and legally felled under licence.

We can deliver wholesale loads of loose logs by articulated wagon or bulk quantities of builders bulk bags of loose logs by curtain side wagon nationwide. Loose loads will be tipped loose at your premises either by 60m³ tipper or 100m³ walking floor trailers. Smaller quantities of logs, kindling and other associated solid fuel supplies to the catering and domestic markets can be delivered within our region using our own fleet of vehicles. From our production facility in West Yorkshire we process timber in the round into split firewood logs and kindling using our Posch Spaltfix 650 firewood processor. Our kiln dried firewood is then dried in our environmentally sustainable biomass fuelled drying facility, also producing green electricity, to a moisture content of approximately 18%. This produces logs that are ready to burn in open fires, log burners and multi-fuel stoves, log fuelled boilers, pizza ovens, smokers and fire pits.
